County Attorney Ricki Osborn
County Attorney Ricki Osborn has been a full-time prosecutor in Webster County since 1998.  Osborn was promoted to First Assistant in 2002 and served in that position until 2009 when she was appointed County Attorney in 2009.  Osborn was then elected County Attorney in 2010.  Osborn has prosecuted all levels of crime, including felony drug cases, felony assaults, murder and sexual abuse cases.  She received her BA degree in Sociology from the University of Iowa in 1994 and her law degree from Creighton University School of Law in 1997. 

Osborn is a member of the Iowa County Attorneys Association, National District Attorneys Association, the Iowa State Bar Association and the Webster County Bar Association. 


Jennifer Bonzer, First Assistant
Ms. Bonzer has been a prosecutor in Webster County since October of 2005.  She has served as First Assistant to Webster County Ricki Osborn since June 2009.  As First Assistant, Ms. Bonzer prosecutes all levels of crimes and supervises the juvenile division.  She also assists the county attorney in supervising the office staff and other attorneys in the office.  She obtained her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2005, and her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Northern Iowa in 2002.


Cori Kuhn Coleman, Second Assistant
Ms. Coleman has been a prosecutor in Webster County since July 2006.  She has served as Second Assistant to Webster County Ricki Osborn since September 2009.  As Second Assistant, Ms. Coleman prosecutes all levels of crimes and handles the majority of the civil matters.  She obtained her law degree from Drake University Law School in 2005, and her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa in 2002. 


Jordan Brackey, Assistant
Jordan Brackey joined the Webster County Attorney’s office in March 2010.  Mr. Brackey received his law degree from Michigan State University in 2007.  He received his bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Iowa in 2004.  Mr. Brackey served as the law clerk for the 3rd Judicial District from 2007 to 2010. 


Jennifer Benson, Assistant
Jennifer Benson joined the Webster County Attorney’s office in July 2011.  Ms. Benson received her law degree from Drake University Law School in 2005, and her bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Iowa in 2002.  Ms. Benson served as a judicial clerk for the Second Judicial District from 2005 to 2006.  Ms. Benson was elected as Humboldt County Attorney in 2006 and served in that position from January 2007 to July 2011.  Ms. Benson has been a member of the Drug Policy Advisory Council since 2010 when she was appointed by Governor Culver.  Ms. Benson also serves on the Domestic/Sexual Assault Outreach Center’s Executive Board and Board of Directors as Vice President.
