Friendship Center - People with mental illness suporting each other through Recovery

The Friendship Center provides a centrally located drop in center for people with mental illness. The Center operates with a recovery based philosophy and exists to provide socialization, recreational, and educational opportunities for people with mental illness.

The center is made up of a computer room, quiet room, craft/meeting room, full kitchen, main room with a pool table, sun deck,  horseshoe pit, cable television, 4 computers with internet access, card/board games and much more.

Members have the opportunity to provide input into the operation of  the Friendship Center and are encouraged to  serve on various committees such as Special Occasion, Newsletter,  Food, Clean-up, Membership, and Calendar Committees.

Monthly calendars are full of activities for everyone including (but not limited to):

“500”, Bingo, Birthday Parties, Craft Classes, Yatzee, Clay Classes, Computer Classes, Dart and Pool Tournaments, Summer Outings, Fishing, BBQ’s, Bowling,  Education and Support Group, 2 Monthly Meals and more!

Membership is $4.00 per month. Please feel free to stop in for a visit. One of our Peer Staff will be happy to show you around and help you fill out an application.

November 1 - March 31
Monday-Saturday: 7:00 am - 9:00 pm
