Program Information:  As the I-Smile Coordinator for the Webster County Health Department, Angela Halfwassen, RDH, offers dental screenings and preventive fluoride varnish to children and pregnant women enrolled in the WIC and MH programs, as well as pre-schools.  She follows up with families after these screenings to be sure they are aware of immediate dental needs.  She also assists with setting appointments and helping clients overcome language and transportation barriers.  She works with numerous community funding sources to provide these services.  These groups include, but are not limited to:  Head Start, Building Families, Linking Families and the United Way.
