Protect Your Health
in the New Year
  • H1N1 is not gone, it still continues to circulate in Iowa
  • H1N1 shot is FREE at the health department
  • Seasonal flu starts picking up during February and March
  • Children 9 years of age and younger need two doses of the vaccine.
  • It is equally important for adults to be vaccinated.

If you have trouble walking or standing we will be able to run out to your car and give you your shot if you come to the clinic.

If you know of someone who wants the H1N1 shot but transportation is a problem, please contact the Webster County Health Department, 515-573-4107 - we will make arrangements.

Best protection – get vaccinated --- then continue everyday prevention actions – cover your cough and sneezes, clean hands frequently, stay home if you are ill.

The Health Dept. is located at
330 1st Avenue North Suite L2
Fort Dodge, Iowa

SEASONAL flu shots are available by calling the Webster County Health Department
