Driveway Permit Application Instructions
Webster County requires permits be issued for the construction of all new driveways, field entrances, and extensions of existing entrances constructed within the right-of-way controlled by the county.
Entrance permit applications shall be submitted to the County Engineer’s office. Upon receipt of the application, the site will be reviewed to determine if a drainage culvert is required or if any problems exist that may prohibit construction at that location. A copy of the approved permit will be returned to the applicant, or a letter of explanation if the permit is denied.
Upon completion of construction the applicant is asked to notify this office for final inspection and placement of granular surfacing material on the new entrance.
