Regular Meeting

January 16, 2007

 

The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: Motl, Condon, Dencklau, Nolting and Lizer.

 

Moved by Lizer, seconded by Condon to approve minutes of January 9, 2007 regular meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Dencklau to receive and place on file salary increase for LaVonne Pringle to $1,402.66, per pay period, effective February 7, 2007.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Dencklau, seconded by Motl to approve salary increase for Deanne Olson, to $15.18 per hour, effective February 1, 2007, per recommendation of Jan Horton, Treasurer.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Motl, seconded by Lizer to receive and place on file Webster County Central Service Cost Allocation Plan for Fiscal Year 2006 and authorize Chair to sign Certification Statement.  (Copy on file in Auditor's office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Lizer, seconded by Condon to approve and authorize Chair to sign utility permit application from MidAmerican Energy to rebuild single-phase primary line to east side of Oates Avenue in Section 4, Badger Township.  (Copy on file in Engineer's office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Dencklau to approve and authorize Chair to sign utility permit application from Frontier Communications to bury approximately 3900 feet of telecommunications cable along the east side of Hayes Avenue in Section 20, Douglas Township. (Copy on file in Engineer's office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Justin Jones, representing Upper Des Moines discussed fiscal year 2008 funding.  No action taken. 

 

Moved by Dencklau, seconded by Motl to adjourn.  Motion carried unanimously.
