Regular Meeting

January 23, 2007

 

The Board of Supervisor met in Session on the above date with the following members present: Motl, Condon, Dencklau, Nolting and Lizer.

 

Moved by Lizer, seconded by Condon to approve minutes of January 16, 2007 regular meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Dencklau to receive and place on file drainage repairs for D.D. #5.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Dencklau, seconded by Motl to approve appointment of Dwight Guthrie to Webster County Condemnation Jury for Year 2007.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Motl, seconded by Lizer to approve and authorize Chair to sign County Substance Abuse Prevention Grant Application for Fiscal Year 2008.  (Copy on file in Auditor's Office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Lizer, seconded by Condon to receive and place on file County Recorder's Report of Fees Collected for period ending December 31, 2006.  (Copy on file in Auditor's Office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Condon, seconded by Dencklau to receive and place on file Sheriff's Report of Fees Collected for period ending December 31, 2006.  (Copy on file in Auditor's Office).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Dencklau, seconded by Motl to receive and place on file Webster County Compensation Board salary recommendation for fiscal year 2007-2008, as follows:  Supervisors $32,859, Chairman $33,639, Sheriff $68,705, Auditor $51,662, Treasurer $51,662, Recorder $51,662, Attorney  $80,623.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Dr. Paxton and Laurie Hendricks requested funding from Webster County.  No action taken. 

 

John Kramer, Webster County Development, updated the Board on current year progress.

 

Moved by Motl, seconded by Lizer to allow claims.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Moved by Lizer, seconded by Condon to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.
