Board of Supervisiors Meeting The Board of Supervisors met in Session on the above date with the following members present: Condon, Dencklau, Motl, Singer and Peterson. Absent: None. Moved by Motl, seconded by Singer to approve minutes of the January 12, 2010 regular meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Singer, seconded by Peterson to approve salary step increase for Deputy Sheriff Geoff Miller to $45,553.36, effective December 17, 2009, per collective bargaining unit contract. Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to approve employment agreements of Mike Richardson and Lynette Peterson as negotiated between Teamsters Local No. 238 and Webster County, per budget constraints; and to accept resignations of said employees. Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Condon, seconded by Motl to approve written commitment to support the Webster County Board of Health in compliance with the Iowa Public Health Standards and the accreditation process for the Webster County Health Department. (Copy on file in Auditor’s office). Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Motl, seconded by Singer to receive and place on file Manure Management Update Plan of Webster Pork, Inc. in Section 22, Gowrie Township; and Brent Odland in Section 17, Eagle Grove Township, Wright County. (Copy on file in Auditor’s office). Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Singer, seconded by Peterson to approve and authorize Chair to sign Addendum to Contract for Fiscal Year 2010-2011 Webster County Library Services. (Copy on file in Auditor’s office). Motion carried unanimously. Deb Rohlfs to discuss Fiscal Year 2011 Substance Abuse Prevent Grant Application with Community Family Resources. No action taken. Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon to approve proposal of the hours, wages and benefits for the Part-time Planning and Zoning Administrator position. (Copy on file in Auditor’s office). Ayes: Motl, Singer and Peterson. Nays: Condon. Motion carried. At 10:30a.m. a Public Hearing was held on proposal to vacate portion of public road right of way known as Langham and Watson Common Consent Road now known as George Avenue in Section 12, Township 88 North, Range 30 West, Fulton Township. No written or oral comments being heard, Chairman Dencklau closed the hearing. Moved by Motl, seconded by Singer the following Resolution be adopted: HEARING ON THE
Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Singer, seconded by Peterson to allow claims. Motion carried unanimously. Moved by Peterson, seconded by Condon the meeting adjourned.
